Isaiah 11:1-10
In these scriptures
penned by the prophet we
have the promise of a
new age to come where
the curse will be lifted
from the earth and an
Eden like peace and
renewed balance shall
come to settle, over all
creation. This shall be
the age where Christ and
His saints will rule
over the earth, Satan
shall be bound for
almost 1000 years and
all nations shall pay
Him tribute and homage.
Even the natural
elements, the weather
and the animals will no
longer be under the
turmoil of the past and
carnivorous beast and
plant life alike shall
finally be at rest.
This is the glorious
hope of the church! What
an incredible future
lies ahead of us, yet so
little seemed to be said
about it these days. We
need to stir up this
hope in our lives as we
see the great darkness
creeping in around us in
the world. We are going
to need this lively hope
to sustain our hearts in
days to come. All the
time I find myself
longing for a new age of
innocence to return to
our world and culture. A
time of purity,
gentility, tenderness
and decency. A world
free from the evil,
grossness and crassness
of these present
times...
Even so, come quickly
Lord Jesus!!!

AS I LOOK AROUND
AND SEE
THE MORAL DECAY
AND GROSS DARKNESS
ALL ABOUT ME
I FIND MYSELF TRULY
WISHING, HOPING
FOR A BRAND NEW AGE
OF PURITY
OF SWEETNESS
AND CHIVALRY
WHERE GOOD KINGS RULE
AND RIGHTEOUSNESS
ABOUNDS
WHERE THE DRAGONS HAVE
BEEN DEFEATED
DRIVEN UNDERGROUND
WHERE LORDS AND LADIES
CELEBRATE
WHAT IS VIRTUOUS, REGAL
AND TRUE
WHERE GOODNESS, KINDNESS
AND GENTLE WAYS ARE
PURSUED
OH SWEET NECTAR OF
VIRTUE
HOME OF DELIGHT
OH HOW I LONG FOR THEE
THAT SACRED HEARTH
WHERE HOLY FIRES BURN
WHERE ALL IS AT LAST
SWEETNESS, COMPLETENESS
AND PURE LIGHT
WHERE WINTERS FINALLY
PAST
WHERE LIONS LIE DOWN
WITH LAMBS AND THEN
THE CHILD SHALL FROLIC
BEDSIDE THE COBRAS DEN
THE COW AND BEAR SHALL
GRAZE
SIDE BY SIDE
ALL EVIL HAS ENDED
ALL GENOCIDE
THE CURSE THEN LIFTED
THE FEAR, THE FOREBODING
DISAPPEAR
NO LONGER TO HOVER
UPON THE AIR
TO SEE AT LAST
INNOCENCE RETURNING
A NEW WORLD...
