		Works by a Poet and Psalmist 'MANY WATERS' By Gene Johnson 3-7-2006 Song of Solomon 7:7 Romans 8:34-39 'Many waters cannot quench love, nor can the floods drown it, If a man would give for love all the wealth of His house, it would be utterly despised'. These are the words of wise King Solomon centuries before the birth of Christ. They describe in just a few words what God did through the life of His son. He gave up His place in heaven to come down to Earth and give up the most valuable thing of all, His own life. All the things that this troublesome life can throw at us are not worthy to be compared to the great Glory that shall be revealed in us as we respond to that love by faith. And as Romans chapter 8 tells us nothing can separate us from the effects of that love unless we let it by doubting His love. Faith works by love but you know? Love works by faith! We must believe in His love for us and His merciful nature even to get initially saved! It is also a constant and enduring faith in His love for us that causes us to never fail! No matter what the troubled waters might be... +++MANY WATERS+++ MANY WATERS OF TROUBLE AND DESPAIR CAN QUENCH THE LOVE THAT I KNOW IS THERE MANY WATERS RIVERS, EVEN SEAS CANNOT QUENCH THIS LOVE MINE FOR YOU YOURS FOR ME MANY WATERS OF SICKNESS, OF DISEASE CANNOT QUENCH THIS LOVE AND PASSIONS FLAME CANNOT FREEZE MANY WATERS THE ENEMIES FLOOD CANNOT QUENCH THIS FIRE CANNOT DOUSE THIS LOVE MANY WATERS TRIALS AND SNARES MANY BURDENS FEARS AND CARES THINGS IN THE PRESENT THINGS FROM THE PAST CONCERNS ABOUT THE FUTURE NONE OF THESE WILL LAST NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF JESUS UNFAILING LOVE IS MINE UNENDING, ALL THE TIME MANY WATERS OF LACK AND POVERTY CANNOT QUENCH THIS LOVE I KNOW HE HAS FOR ME MANY WATERS OF HATRED, OF STRIFE CANNOT HINDER THIS LOVE THAT CAME INTO MY LIFE MANY WATERS ANGELS, DEMONS TRIBULATIONS AND DISTRESS PERSECUTIONS, STORMS FAMINES AND NAKEDNESS PERILS AND THE SWORD ALL OF THIS LIFE AND EVEN DEATH ALL OF OUR SIN AND UNRIGHTEOUSNESS ALL OF THESE THINGS NEITHER HEIGHT, NOR DEPTH CAN QUENCH THIS LOVE CAN SEPARATE US FROM THIS ETERNAL LOVE THAT BY THE CHRIST HAS COME...
