'THE PRICE OF UNITY'

Ephesians 4:1-4
Today is St. Patrick's Day. It's not a biblical holy
day by any means but it is an important reminder to
pray for the peace and unity of the nation of
Ireland. The prime minister of that country met with
our president today and said that this coming
year is a pivotal time for the nation. For the peace
process between north and south, Catholic and
Protestant to sustain a lasting effect, much is
needed to be done.
Please keep them in your prayers! Patrick's story of
triumph in turning pagan Ireland to the faith is a
powerful and lofty one. I wonder how he would have
felt to have seen all the carnage and horror of the
last century between the IRA and the Protestant
North, after all he gave of himself and his life to
that grand emerald isle? Especially between
professing Christians? Not to mention how the Lord
Himself must feel about it??!! Pray for peace to
prevail, unity to grow and for revival to break out
in great power that at last the devils violence and
hatred would finally end!

LET THE AGELESS WELLS
BE DUG AGAIN
LET THE TRUE SPIRIT
OF PATRICK ARISE
THAT GREAT NEMESIS
OF EVIL AND SIN
LET THE CELTIC FIRES
OF REVIVAL BURN BRIGHT
LET MEN SEE THEMSELVES
AS BROTHERS AND FRIENDS
POUR OUT THE POWER OF LOVE
POUR OUT THE RIVER OF LIFE
POUR OUT THE OIL OF GLADNESS
LET THE GREEN HILLS IGNITE!
LET THE BON-FIRES
OF LIGHT GROW HIGH
ON IRELAND'S FAIR PLAIN
THE SOULS OF MEN
AT PEACE, AT LAST
THE NATION AS ONE, AGAIN!
